Northeast Church (Garland, Texas)

The Maxwell's had a small intimate wedding with close friends and family. This wedding was so special to us because it was our first ever wedding to photograph/record. When I reached out to them to see if they still needed engagement photos, they quickly said yes + preceded to ask if I did wedding photography as well! I was so static that this couple would trust in me for their dream day.😍

P + S met in college and decided to tie the knot on June 26, 2021. Preston works at Northeast Church in Garland, TX which is where they decided would be the perfect place to get married.

After a short but VERY SWEET ceremony, they had a super fun reception with a Chick-fil-A bar. My favorite part of their day was the cake cutting. Sav really wanted to have a moment honoring her guests, so she and Preston cut the cake AND served their guests individually. This was so special as their first time serving together as a couple.

When it was time for them to head to their Airbnb, they had a simple sparkler exit with their car waiting to drive off into the night (in comfy clothes obviously)!

It was special to watch these two have the best time. And we were so honored to capture the day. Since their wedding, I fell in love with elopements, small weddings, and adventurous people + couples. I can't wait to see what is in store for us.

CONGRATS to Mr. & Mrs. MAXWELL! Thank you for trusting in me.

much love, talk soon
